Osias Brito is a founding partner of BR Finance. He worked for 25 years in the financial market. He has been the CFO, COO and CEO of large banks both in Brazil and abroad. Among other roles, he currently is a board member at 4 BIO Medicamentos (Raia Drogasil subsidiary) and UNINTER Educacional S/A and is a former board member at Banco Banespa, CIP (Interbank Payment Clearing House), Cegás (Cia de Gás do Ceará) and Rede D’Or. Mr. Brito has been directly involved in structuring more than 100 M&A and capital raising transactions for companies in the consumer goods, financial institutions, home building materials and the agriculture sectors. He is a professor for Strategy and Capital Market at FGV and has a PhD post-doc degree from IESE – Business School – Spain and a PhD degree in finance from Universidade de São Paulo (USP). Osias Brito has four books published by Livraria Saraiva about Capital Markets.
Mauricio Nozawa is a founding partner of BR Finance and has worked for more than 15 years in M&A in traditional boutiques in the Brazilian financial market. Mr. Nozawa was directly involved in structuring more than 30 M&A and capital raising transactions for companies in consumer goods, personal care, beauty, pharmaceutical, supermarket and the agriculture sectors. He has a BA degree from FGV and a specialization in finance by University of Illinois at Chicago and University of Texas at Austin.
Giovani Bellissi is a partner at BR Finance and has over 16 years of experience in the financial market having worked both in international and national financial institutions in Investment Banking, proprietary M&A, Project Finance, and Client Coverage. Specialized in M&A, Giovani holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from EAESP-FGV, International Business Certificate from ITESM (Mexico), and MBA from London Business School (United Kingdom), having also participated in an exchange program with IESE Business School (Spain).
Oscar Ono is an associate at BR Finance. He has worked for four years in accounting and financial advisory in M&A at KPMG. Among other roles, he was Contracts and Projects manager at ABP Induction Sistemas de Fundição Ltda (ABB Division). He has a BA degree in Accounting from Trevisan Escola de Negócios and a BA degree in Business Administration from FAAT.
João Nerva is an associate at BR Finance. Previously, he has worked in M&A in traditional boutiques in south region of Brazil. Additionally, Mr. Nerva has a previous experience in corporate finance at Dell EMC. Mr. Nerva holds a BA in Production Engineering from the Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos.
Vinícius Bittar is an analyst at BR Finance. Previously, he has worked in Private Equity at Aqua Capital and M&A advisory at a boutique that operates in the Brazilian middle market. In addition, Bittar holds a degree in Business Administration from FEA-USP and has studied a semester abroad at IE Business School – Madrid.
